Jacob is One of the Most Popular Baby Boy Names Ever
The most popular name for a baby boy in the last eleven years has been the name Jacob.

A breed of sheep has been named The Jacob Sheep. They are adorable little black and white-faced sheep, with curly horns. They are currently found mostly in England, but are thought to be direct descendants of the sheep that Jacob and Esau used to tend in their land. A plant called Jacobs Ladder is used in home landscaping. It has flat leaves with a design that seem to look like a ladder, so they are named after Jacob’s ladder.
